# App Store Screenshots

App Store Screenshots is a free, MIT-licensed skill for AI coding agents. It scaffolds a Next.js editor that turns real app captures into advertisement-style App Store and Google Play screenshot decks.

## Workflow

1. Capture real app screenshots from a simulator, emulator, or device.
2. Brief the coding agent with the app outcome, strongest features, platforms, locales, visual direction, and slide count.
3. Refine screens in a connected or isolated canvas with a sidebar, inspector, device frames, and persistent project state.
4. Export exact-size PNG bundles organized by platform, device, resolution, and locale.

The canonical deck state is stored in `app-store-screenshots.json`, making the project resumable and version controlled.

## Supported outputs

- Apple: iPhone 6.9, 6.5, 6.3, and 6.1-inch sizes plus iPad decks.
- Google Play: phone, 7-inch tablet, 10-inch tablet, portrait and landscape tablet variants, and 1024 x 500 feature graphics.
- Locales and RTL-aware layouts.
- Reusable themes and connected elements that can span adjacent screens.

## Styles and copy

- Eighteen named visual styles, each with a deep spec (palette, type, layout rhythm, decoration, copy voice): Hand-Drawn Editorial Tasks, Retro Rubberhose Mascot, Moody Curated Dating, Paper Sticker Skeuomorphic, Dreamy Pastel Couples, Glossy 3D K-Beauty Creator, Liquid Glass Aurora, Swiss Grid Bold, Neon Athletic Night, Magazine Cover Editorial, Candy Pop Social, Soft Clay Wellness, Midnight Glow Pro, Risograph Zine, Bento Keynote Grid, Toybox Primary, Quiet Japandi, and Vintage Travel Poster.
- A headline copy library with formulas per slide role (hero, differentiator, feature, proof, closer), ready lines for 13 app categories, and localization notes. The editor's inspector exposes the same formulas in a Copy ideas menu.
