Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.
Can I back up my data?
Your data is included in your iCloud device backups automatically. With iCloud sync enabled, your coffees, recipes, brew logs, and equipment also sync across all your devices via CloudKit.
What is the Flavor Window?
It's Bloom's freshness tracking system. Based on your coffee's roast type and roast date, it shows when your beans are resting, at peak, or fading.
How does the bag scanner work?
Point your camera at a coffee bag label. Bloom uses on-device AI to read the text and fill in the details. No images leave your device. Requires iOS 26+.
Is Bloom free?
Bloom is free to download with up to 3 active coffees and 5 recipes. Bloom Pro unlocks unlimited coffees, unlimited recipes, full brew history, all widgets, iCloud sync, and more. No ads, ever.
Does Bloom require an account?
No. Bloom works fully without an account. Apple Sign-In is optional, used only for syncing subscriptions and enabling iCloud sync.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual items within the app, or uninstall Bloom to remove everything.
